Meet Our Team

Tony graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance. After several years in the local Austin banking industry, he began his career in the Insurance Industry in 1989 with Farmers Insurance. After 8 years as an underwriting/sales supervisor and manager, Tony founded Jones Insurance Services in 1997 in Denver, Colorado as a District Manager. While successfully growing his district operations, Tony also served on the Colorado Insurance Commissioners Producer Advisory Board. After 5 years in Denver, in 2003, Tony, his wife Tracye, son and daughter, Colton and Alyssa, moved to La Grange and acquired the Lindemann Insurance Agency.

In 2018, the Agency diversified its carrier options by becoming a fully Independent General Lines Agency. “We are proud to see the growth of the Agency representing a variety of regional and national carriers. It is exciting to offer clients our expertise and choice combined with a friendly and personable experience.” In his spare time, Tony enjoys golf & hunting.

Tracye studied at The University of Texas at Austin, as well as in the Interior Design Department at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado. Tracye also worked in the Dental Field for 15 years. Beginning with the acquisition of the District Office in Colorado, Tracye, as co-owner of the agency, has been an integral part of the operations for Jones Insurance Services, working primarily with the office administration, bookkeeping and marketing. In 2003, Tony and Tracye moved their family back to Texas and, more specifically to Fayette County, Texas, where Tracye spent most summers and weekends growing up on her maternal grandmother’s ranch in Winchester, Texas. With the move to La Grange, in 2003, Tracye’s efforts focused on finding a permanent home and office location, being a stay at home mom and volunteering.

For the move to 357 N. Jefferson, Tracye supervised the overall remodeling and interior design of the Jones Insurance Services Office. Now, Tracye is a General Lines Agent/Producer for our agency, primarily focused on our commercial accounts. Tony and Tracye have 2 grown children, Colton and Alyssa.

Melissa graduated from La Grange High School in 2012. In 2013, Melissa became a Customer Service Representative for Jones Insurance Services, part-time, while attending Blinn College in Schulenburg, Texas. Melissa was accepted into Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas; where she received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections in December 2016. After graduating, Melissa returned home, where she is now a Customer Service Representative and General Lines Agent/Producer for Jones Insurance Services. Melissa loves helping customers obtain a better understanding of their policies and the importance of insurance. Melissa also loves spending time with her children, family, and friends!

Izamar was raised in La Grange, Texas, and graduated from La Grange High School. Izamar started her insurance career as a customer service representative with Jones Insurance Services in the summer of 2021. She is now a licensed General Lines Agent/Producer and wants to share her learning experiences and provide a caring service to our clients. Izamar enjoys spending time with her two young children, along with family and friends.

Vanessa, a Brenham native, began her journey in the Insurance Industry back in 2011-2012 as a CSR at an Insurance agency in Brenham. Visiting La Grange since she was 12 years old, she learned to love the small-town feel. Making La grange her home in 2014, Vanessa started off as a customer service representative for Jones Insurance Services, later to become a Licensed Insurance Agent. Vanessa took a break from the insurance industry to obtain her Cosmetology license. She is now back “home” as some of her customers at Jones Insurance Services have referred to her. She enjoys spending time with her son’s and family. “What I love about my job is the fact that I can change a customer’s day with my actions and level of service.”

Alyssa is a Licensed General Lines Agent and Producer at Jones Insurance Services, where she blends professional expertise with a personal touch to help clients find the right coverage to protect what matters most.

Daughter of agency owners Tony and Tracye Jones, Alyssa grew up surrounded by the values of service, trust, and family that define the business. A proud graduate of La Grange High School (Class of 2012), she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Texas Lutheran University in 2016, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Lamar University in 2021.

After marrying her husband, Chandler, in 2020 and welcoming their son Cassius  in 2024, Alyssa began working remotely for Jones Insurance Services from her home in Katy, Texas. Today, she works both remotely and in-office, continuing the family legacy with dedication and heart.

Currently pursuing her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, Alyssa is passionate about guiding individuals and families through the often-confusing world of insurance. Her goal is simple: to make sure every client feels confident, protected, and informed.

When she’s not working, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling—especially to Disney—and escaping into a good book whenever she finds a quiet moment.
